A Men’s Himalayan Journey of Mountain and Mind.

An Adventure, Expedition and Pilgrimage.

with Robbie Paterson & Andrew Leslie

Nepal, 6-20 September 2025

Step into the wild, face the unknown, and awaken the primal fire that modern life has dulled.

Return home as the man you were meant to be after this 14 day adventure deep in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal.

Why this Adventure?

Most men spend their lives running on a treadmill they didn’t build - pushing, grinding, achieving. The job. The money. The relationship. The reputation.

The boxes are checked. The script is followed. But beneath it all, there’s a whisper - a quiet rebellion in your gut telling you there’s more.

Because deep down, you know - success isn’t the same as fulfillment. Strength isn’t the same as presence. And no amount of external wins will ever replace the fire that’s been slowly fading inside.

You don’t need another distraction. Another vacation. Another hit of dopamine.

You need something real. Something raw.

A challenge that strips away the noise, breaks you open, and puts you back together - stronger, sharper, clearer.

This isn’t a retreat. It’s a rite of passage.

Why the Himalayas?

The Himalayas are not just mountains - they are a crucible. A place that tests you, humbles you, and reveals you.

The altitude will strip away your ego. The silence will force you to meet yourself. The challenge will break you open, and in that breaking, something new is born.

In these peaks, clarity comes not from thinking harder, but from letting go.

Every step up strips away what no longer serves you.
Every breath in fills you with something real.
Every moment here reminds you - this is what it means to feel fully alive.

Real Transformation Awaits

You’ll leave behind more than just footprints.

You’ll shed the weight of stress, doubt, and distraction. You’ll push your body past its limits. You’ll reconnect with a tribe of men who are all here for the same reason: to remember who they are and why they’re here.

You will return home with clarity, deep presence, and a fire inside you that won’t fade.

Are you ready?

More than a Trek. An initiation into Brotherhood

This isn’t only about summiting a peak - it’s about reaching a version of yourself that’s been waiting to emerge.

For 14 days, you will strip away distractions, open your mind, push your body, and step into something raw, real, and life-changing. Every step will challenge you. Every moment will wake you up. And by the end, you won’t just see the world differently - you’ll move through it differently.

Your Guides & Retreat Facilitators - Meet Andy & Robbie

A Scottish duo forged in the fires of adventure, challenge, and deep inner work. Andy and Robbie have walked the path themselves - pushing physical and mental boundaries, stepping into the unknown, and uncovering the truths that lie beyond normality and comfort.

Now, they come together to guide other men through an experience that is more than a trek. It’s an initiation of brotherhood. A journey into the wild, both outside and within.

Together, they bridge the primal and the profound, the grit and the grace - leading men toward true mastery of themselves.

This is about awakening - to life, to presence, and to the vast potential that already exists within.

  • Andy isn’t just familiar with the Himalayas - he’s lived them. In 2024, he summited Everest, spending eight weeks in the world’s highest peaks, forging an unshakable resilience in one of the harshest environments on Earth.

With a background in performance coaching, breathwork, and mindset mastery, Andy understands what it takes to break through physical and mental barriers. His approach is about more than endurance—it’s about harnessing the mind and body as a single, powerful force.

Through breathwork, mental conditioning, and pushing the edges of what’s possible, Andy helps men access a level of strength they never knew existed.

  • Robbie has journeyed just as far - but inward. After two years of intensive Vedic meditation training, he spent three months in deep meditation in India, stepping beyond thought and into profound stillness.

From there, he took his practice to the mountains, completing the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, where he immersed himself in ancient wisdom, silence, and self-discovery.

Now, Robbie teaches men how to access the power of presence. He shows that true strength isn’t just in the body - it’s in the ability to move beyond the noise, expand awareness, and awaken to something greater.

Why we created this

Because modern men are starving for something real.

The world tells you to grind harder, to achieve more, to keep chasing the next milestone - but where does it lead? More stress. More pressure. A life that looks successful but feels empty.

We’ve lived the other way. We’ve tested ourselves in the extremes - through the ice, the altitude, the silence, the stillness. We’ve discovered that the real breakthroughs don’t come from pushing endlessly forward, but from stripping everything back.

This journey is our way of sharing that. Of guiding men through an experience that isn’t just about conquering mountains - but about finding the clarity, purpose, and deep presence to live fully, right here, right now.

Are you ready to step into it?

You feel it, don’t you? That low hum of restlessness beneath everything you do. Life is good - by all the usual measures. You’ve built something. You’ve done things. People admire you, maybe even envy you.

But in the quiet moments, when no one’s looking, there’s a voice. A knowing.

This isn’t it.

The grind numbs it for a while. Success distracts you. The gym. The wins. The next goal. The next hit of validation. But it always comes back. That feeling in your bones. That whisper in your gut.

There’s more.

More depth. More presence. More fire. More you - the raw, unshakable, unstoppable you that’s been buried under all the bullshit of modern life.

This journey is for the man who:

Is done outsourcing his masculinity to podcasts, books, and motivational clips. You don’t need another theory. You need to be forged in something real.

Has built the life they said would make him happy - but still feels unfulfilled. The money came. The status came. The achievements stacked up. But that deeper hunger? Still there. Success isn’t the same as fulfillment.

Has played the game long enough. You’ve been the achiever, the provider, the guy who gets shit done. But who are you beneath all that? When the noise fades? When the distractions are stripped away?

Knows there’s power in him that’s never been fully tapped. You’ve pushed limits before. But what happens when you take yourself out of your comfortable, curated world and step into the unknown?

Craves brotherhood - not networking. Not socializing. Not ego-driven flexing. Real men. Real depth. Real challenge. Conversations that leave you changed. Bonds that can’t be faked.

Wants to find out what he’s really made of. Not in theory. Not in a self-improvement course. But out there, where it’s raw. Where there’s no hiding. No distractions. Just you, the mountains, and the truth.

This is not a vacation.
This is not a retreat.
This is an initiation.

Something inside you already knows it’s time. The only question left is:

Are you coming?

The Mission and Full Itinerary Breakdown

The Himalayan Rite of Passage: 14 Days to Awaken the Man Within

A Complete Journey for Mind, Body, and Spirit

From September 6th to 20th, this isn’t a mere trek - it’s a trial by mountain, fire, and ice. A two-week journey designed to push your limits, strip away the noise, and reconnect you with something ancient, powerful, and raw.

Over 14 days you’ll climb higher than you ever have, breathe deeper than you ever have, and uncover parts of yourself you’ve long forgotten.

Through grit and stillness, fire and ice, silence and brotherhood, this is the ultimate rite of passage - a journey that will mark the before and after of your life.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU (SEPT 6) – INTO THE UNKNOWN

You land in the beating heart of Nepal - Kathmandu. The air is thick with incense, ancient chants echo through the streets, and the energy is electric. This city is a portal between worlds - old and new, known and unknown.

We gather as brothers for the first time, setting intentions for the journey ahead. Chai on a rooftop, overlooking a city older than time. The adventure begins.

- Welcome dinner + initiation into the journey

- First group circle overlooking the mountains

- Overnight in a boutique guesthouse

---

DAY 2: INTO THE MOUNTAINS – THE CALL TO ADVENTURE

We leave the echos behind, boarding a rugged 4x4 off-road journey into the Langtang Valley. The deeper we go, the more the modern world fades. Glacial rivers, towering peaks, and endless skies.

- Bumpy, wild, unforgettable ride through the Himalayan foothills

- Arrival at Syabrubesi, the gateway to Langtang

- Evening breathwork and fireside session

---

THE ASCENT BEGINS

DAY 3: TREKKING INTO THE SACRED LAND

Boots hit the dirt. The rhythm of the trail begins. We trek through ancient forests, cross roaring rivers, and pass villages untouched by time. Each step takes us closer - not just to the summit, but to ourselves.

- Altitude: 2,380m

- Experience: First Himalayan trek, primal connection to the land

- Challenge: Steep climbs, first real test of resilience

- Evening: Campfire reflections, learning the art of stillness.

---

DAY 4-6: INTO THE HEART OF THE HIMALAYAS – MINDSET, GRIT, AND PRESENCE

The days get tougher. The air gets thinner. Every step demands more. This is where the real work begins - not just physically, but mentally. Doubt creeps in, the mind resists - but you push forward.

Mornings:

- Sunrise breathwork and cold plunges in glacial water

- Meditation sessions - training the mind like a warrior

Days on the Trail:

- Steeper climbs, longer distances, deeper conversations

- Ancient monasteries, prayer wheels spinning, the whispers of monks who have lived here for centuries

Nights:

- Fireside masculine philosophy sessions - power, purpose, and what it means to be a man

- Star-gazing at high altitude - perspective shifts when you’re this close to the cosmos

---

THE SUMMIT PUSH

DAY 7-9: HIGH ALTITUDE, YALA PEAK BASE CAMP (4,600M)

The air is razor-thin. The world stretches endlessly below. This is the edge - where most men stop, but not you.

- Acclimatization hikes - pushing your body past perceived limits

- Warrior’s breath training - breath is power, breath is survival

- Nights spent under the Milky Way, absorbing the stillness

DAY 9: SUMMIT DAY – YALA PEAK (5,500M)

The defining moment. A pre-dawn ascent, headlamps cutting through the darkness. The cold bites, the lungs burn, but the fire inside is stronger.

And then - the summit. The world below, infinite sky above. Nothing will ever feel the same again.

- Victory at the top of the world

- Silent moment of presence, absorbing the magnitude

- Descend back to base camp, forever changed

---

THE DESCENT – INTEGRATION AND THE INNER JOURNEY

DAY 10-12: THE RETURN – WISDOM, STILLNESS, & TRANSFORMATION

Coming down is a different kind of challenge - bringing the mountain back with you.

- Descend through hidden villages, sharing tea with local Sherpas and monks.

- Deep integration work - how to take this clarity into the real world

- Nights filled with music, storytelling, and reflection

---

DAY 13: RETURN TO KATHMANDU – CLOSING THE CIRCLE

Back where it all began, but you are not the same man. We close the journey with one final night - a celebration, a ritual, a commitment to live differently.

- Closing ceremony in an ancient temple

- Final night in Kathmandu - rooftop reflections, raising a glass to the brotherhood

---

DAY 14: DEPARTURE – BUT THE JOURNEY CONTINUES (SEPT 20)

You board your flight home, but something is different. The mountains are inside you now. The fire won’t fade. The man you became on this journey is the man you bring back into the world.

What our Guests are Saying

  • Drishti M - Previous Retreat Guest

Last October, I took part in a meditation retreat with Omala and it was an incredible experience. While the beautiful location and peaceful atmosphere definitely contributed, the true highlight was our teacher, Robbie.

Robbie's knowledge of meditation practices was impressive. He wasn't just someone who had dabbled; he was a true expert who could explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way. This made the workshops informative and helped me gain a deeper understanding of meditation. My personal highlight was the sound bath which was transformative.

Before the retreat, my meditation practice was inconsistent. I struggled to find the focus and motivation to make it a regular part of my life. But thanks to Robbie's guidance and encouragement, I left the retreat feeling inspired and equipped with the tools I needed to maintain a consistent practice.

If you're looking for a meditation retreat led by a knowledgeable and supportive coach, then look no further than Omala. And if you're lucky enough to have Robbie as your guide, you're in for a truly transformative experience.

  • Elena V - Previous Retreat Guest

The Meditation retreat with Robbie & Maggie was an absolutely mind blowing experience!

It was such a well thought through journey for each participant with a great combination of yoga, mediation sessions and also dedicated sessions focusing on your life values.

It had such a lasting deep impact, that lasts over months and changes your life experience.

Also Robbie managed to created such a trusted atmosphere in the group, that all of us became really good friends and keeping the connections still till now.

Either you want to connect with inner self, understand root causes of your life challenges or simply unwind from the hustle and bustle of the bigger world the sessions with Robbie is always the right choice!

  • Simon S

I took part in Robbie's mediation retreat last year. It was by far one of the best experiences I've ever had.

His calm manner and openness explains how you can get the most out of meditation. Age or level of experience doesn’t matter. I can recommend it to everyone! One of the best investments in your own life.
