What is Vedic Meditation?
Vedic Meditation (VM) is an ancient meditation technique. It’s known for being easy, highly effective and effortless.
It’s a 20 minute eyes closed technique, practiced ideally twice a day. You are seated comfortably in a chair, no crossed legs or sitting on a yoga mat required. In VM there is no need for focus or controlling your mind.
How does it work?
You receive a personalized mantra. A mantra is a sound or word with no meaning. You are taught how to use it - silently & gently repeating it in your mind.
This redirects our awareness away from thoughts at the surface of the mind - the incessant and cyclical mental loops that tend to consume our attention. The mantra transports your awareness to a deeper part of the mind.
This allows your mind and body to relax & rest deeply. As a result, removing stress which is built up in your mind & body. This leaves you feeling energized & present.
With a consistent daily routine, you'll find yourself less stressed or anxious, more productive, less overwhelmed and more calm. It allows you to live from your innate potential and become more effective at life.
