4 day Vedic Meditation Course

What is Vedic Meditation and how is it unique?

Vedic Meditation (VM) is unique. Why?

It’s is an easy, effortless, natural meditation technique. It’s simple, yet extremely powerful, highly effective, and anyone can learn it. It awakens and enlivens the full potential of the mind and causes extremely deep rest for the mind-body system.

In contrast to other styles of meditation, there is no control, concentration or focus of the mind.

It’s a 20 minute eyes closed technique, practiced ideally twice a day. You are seated comfortably in a chair, no crossed legs or sitting on a yoga mat is required. After practicing VM for only a short amount of time results in drastic shifts and transformation in your eyes open life experience.

How does it work?

What makes it so powerful?

You will receive a personalized mantra. A mantra is a sound or word with no meaning. You are then taught how to use it, silently & effortlessly in your mind.

This redirects your awareness away from thoughts at the surface of your mind - the incessant and cyclical mental loops that tend to consume your attention. The mantra transports your awareness to a deeper part of the mind.

This allows your mind and body to relax & rest deeply. As a result, removing stress which is built up in your mind-body. This leaves you feeling energized, confident, fulfilled & present.

With a consistent daily routine, you'll find yourself less stressed or anxious, more productive, less overwhelmed and more calm and content. It allows you to live from your innate potential and become more effective at life and Being You.

What will I experience on the 3 Day Course with Omala?

How the course works & your life transforming journey with Omala

Day One

After an introduction into the origins of the technique, you will be given your Sanskrit Mantra and be instructed how to use it to enter a state of deep rest & meditative absorption.

The Mantra has a soothing sound quality and vibrational frequency when it is gently repeated in the mind. Gentle and effortless repetition is they key. You will be shown how to do this and learn about the mechanics of transcendence meditation.

At the end of the first day, you will be able to meditate on your own and wont need technology to assist you.

Day Two

After reviewing & fine tuning your meditation experience, we will dive into the science of consciousness and how your mind works with thoughts & emotions.

You will learn about states of consciousness and what happens in your brain when you meditate. There are common thought patterns which arise during meditation and we explore all of them so you’ll be able to navigate what happens in your mind as you meditate to allow the mind to settle and move naturally inwards.

We will then explore how our mind moves through ‘cycles’ as we meditate and move away from the surface level thinking mind, to the deep states of conscious awareness and transcendence.

We will then introduce the science of stress and how it impacts our mind, body and nervous system. You’ll learn how to deal with the effects of mental and physical stress release during meditation.

Day Three

We will continue to work with the Mantra and review and fine tune your meditation experiences and technique.

We will then explore the Eastern vs Western view of Transcendence Meditation aka the Spiritual aspects versus the Scientific aspects.

We will review the experiences and philosophies from the ancient yogi’s who created this technique and how this info relates to the modern day scientific research which validates this ancient wisdom.

We will then finish with what comes next on your meditation journey and how to effectively integrate meditation into your modern day lifestyle and routine. You will learn about how the practice can change your life and how you can navigate this transformation without stumbling into the common pitfalls which may be ahead.

Time to ride & transcend the wave.

FAQs

No, we want to create a safe space and experience for our Omala Meditators. This ensures everyone feels comfortable to ask any questions and share their experiences, as this is especially important during the review and fine tuning of the technique aspects of the course.

Question 2: What if I haven’t progressed after the 3 Day Course?

If you follow the instructions and take part in the course fully, you will see progress.

However, regardless of your progress, your meditation practice is only beginning after you finish the course.

You will have on-going support from Robbie to deepen and expand your meditation practice as you wish. You can contact Robbie at any time.

You will also have access to Group Meditations and regular Q&A sessions. Drop in whenever you like.

Question 3: How long are the meditation sessions each day?

The standard is to meditate for 20 minutes, twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon or early evening. It can be more or less depending on your specific needs, which we will work out with you needed.

Question 4: Do I have to turn my camera on?

No. Not if you don’t want to but of course you’re welcome to. There is no compulsory interaction on the course.

You’re free to have your camera or microphone on or off. You can also choose to ask any questions in the chat box if preferred.

Question 5: Do I have to sit cross legged or in Full Lotus position?

No, of course not! You can ditch that stereotype now. In Transcendence Meditation we emphasize that comfort is key. All you need is a comfortable spot to sit in, preferably with back support so you can deeply relax and move into the deep state.

Whatever is most comfortable for you.

For most students, this is a big relief. No back aches or sore knees and hips. Just comfort and Transcendence!
